I need help telling someone hes not better than me

I have a friend who plays overwatch with me almost every day and he keeps thinking hes better than me even though hes not.

Hes in mid-bronze and I heard him say once he thought he should be in plat.

I am in high silver and am non-confrontational, but he keeps blaming it on the healers, or the tanks, or me.

What should i do?

Drop it because this is a childish argument, or 1v1 him to either prove your point, or show that he is better.

I agree with @kelvinhall05 here.

If he won't shut up, ask him why he should be plat?

How long has he been playing?

If he really deserves to be plat, he should have climbed past silver and gold by now.

Hey there. TLDR: There's very little you can do to stifle someone else's ego, and attempting to regulate someone else's attitude isn't always a good idea (both for you and for him).

Any chance that talking it out with him might help? Communicate team strategies, try out new combinations, that sort of thing?

If a 'friend' is ruining a game for you, I'd suggest playing with other, more agreeable people. Perhaps even try out another game or join another community. Doesn't sound like a good gaming partner to me if his ego is so inflated that he doesn't see it's making his pal's gaming experience terrible.

Honestly at the end of the day it’s just a game. Many people disagree with ranking systems in many games, but really they are where they should be. It’s all relative to other players and how often you play.
