Why do JPOP artist when preforming live use sennheiser mics

Not for a long time anyway, and not in their current iteration undoubtedly.  Was there a different company called sure then?  I distinctly remember the thing,  brushed fake aluminum face, black logo.  Might have been a licensing deal.

but I am more used to seeing tascam, technics, nakamichi,pionneer or akai cassete decks

Okay, to add to what Rice already said. Just because 58s and 57s are industry standard doesn't make them the best mics ever, the Sennheiser stuff may just have a better sound but I'll be betting they just use whatever the venue they're playing has laying around. From what I understand most of the acts are hyperproduced and the shows are likely using mostly backing tracks so the mics really don't matter much. I can't recall the last time I saw a headline act (big famous one) actually use a 58, the often pretend to while wearing a headset mic but whenever they really sing into a handheld mic it's almost never actually a 58. There are all sorts of live vocal mics produced by the likes of Neumann, Telefunken, Beyer dynamic and others that are just far better sounding options.

No, trust me, everything they do is pitch corrected.
Production is what I do and everything is pitch corrected, especially J/K pop, really just especially pop.

well I total agree everything is pitch corrected and I used to think that jpop they did not use autotune but less aggressive tuning

I think 'Less Aggressive' is the right way to say it, they're not using 0 latency snapping like a lot of rap acts do and at least they're pitch correcting to the right notes (unlike Disney).
But they are still correcting every note individually likely using Melodyne, it's what we all use prettymuch.
