These 10th Gen Order Delays Are Getting Insane

I pre-ordered the 10900K on May 14th, and it's still not in stock anywhere. The release was on May 20th, wasn't it? There is no word when it will be in stock, some vendors saying it will take until June 20th or so. This sucks.

Intel sucks in the latter years.

I was pumped for 10700K(F) but upcoming Ryzen 3600XT will probably be better (gaming) performance and lower cost. Well, at least comparable performance, but much lower price.

I edit my posts more often than not

1. We're in a pandemic right now

2. Intel has been facing chip shortages for over a year

go figure, both of their tenth gen launches were non existent. HEDT suffered with cascade lake, and now consumer suffers with comet lake.

Neither are much different from their predecessors, mind you, so you're not exactly missing out by opting for other 14nm parts, aside from the new socket.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If you're playing at 1440p or above, cancel it and order a 3900x instead.

You will be hard pressed to spot any difference in games and it will be better in almost everything else aside from gaming. (It's quite a lot cheaper too, including mobos)

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It was mostly a paper launch like 8th gen. Supply will normalize in July-August

The i9 9900k took a while as I remember.

I am not in a hurry so I will be getting the things I will need for the build first.

Also the lack of 2080 tis on the market right now is a bit of an issue since the GTX 1080 ti I have available does not need a 5ghz plus CPU to perform well.

Without a 2080 ti there is no point in me testing it so again, not in a hurry.
