Is 144hz amazing?

I love it myself, I can't look at a 60hz panel even if watching just movies or videos it's just overall smoother to my eyes.

Its actually quite funky. Let me explain.

 

I use my 144hz monitor on my PC of course, and it really is a game changer. I did not gain any sort of advantage in a PVP style game by any means, but I did notice that the smoothness of it (is that a word?) does help my reaction timing.

 

Then, because Rockstar does not let you transfer characters in GTAO anymore, I usually play PS4 on my TV in the living room and if I immediately switch from PC to PS4, I actually need to give my eyes a moment to adjust as it will look a little stuttery.

 

So really funky, yes it does make a big difference, it is hard to go back to a 60hz for me.

just use display port cable and dont forget to change hz rate of monitor in display settings

I got my new ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ display (1440p 144/165Hz) last month for to replace my old DELL UltraSharp U2713HM display (1440p 60Hz).

 

It's day and night !

The smoothness difference is quite awesome. However, I would go a step further and that that 144hz + Gsync/Freesync is the real money maker. It is nearly unbearable to have to play on a non-adaptive sync monitor anymore. It's extremely noticeable.
