At my school in the computer tech club of which i am president and where I work over the summer I am know as the hardware guy as I know more about modern hardware than my boss does (he still thinks that any mobo not made by intel is crap) but he is a great man. My friend is my vp and the software guy as he is a programmer and general consultant to all things programming while I build computers and do general maintenance of the infrastructure at school. (Projectors, cables, servers, computers, laptops ,etc).

It's a kinda random (and long) story... I used to have 'cheersjonny' years ago (when I was about 10). My middle name is John, and I'd heard the quote: 'heeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny' too many times. And for whatever reason, I came up with that.

I always thought of myself as a devious person when I was younger but the username devious was almost always taken. So that's why I came up with cheersjonny. As I got older, however, I felt that cheersjonny was too childish. I then switched to deviess as it was something different to devious that was always free but still said the same thing.

Then my Xbox live friends decided to make a clan name so that when we played games in a party together (which back then was most nights) people would know we were all part of a team. That clan was to be 'xBlizz I <YourUserHere>'. Unfortunately, 'xBlizz I Deviess' or 'xBlizz I Devious' was often too long. So I shortened it to xBlizz I Devi.

Since then, I have used mixtures of xBlizz I Devi, xBlizzDevious, xBlizzDevi and so on to suite each website. Generally you'll find me as xBlizzDevious these days as that's what I seem to have stuck with.

Interestingly, I no longer play consoles and so very rarely play games with those norwegian friends, all but one of which I believe has dropped the clan tag name. I keep it because it's pretty much guaranteed to be unique and I think it sounds kinda cool. Plus it doesn't have the noobish style of xXx SomeRandomCrapAboutSnipingHere xXx about it! Haha.

my name has a story behind it.

i made several bad aliases, and one day, I didn't want to be known by my terrible alias(es).

a friend of mine wanted me to think of personal traits and come up with synonyms. i'm somewhat doubtful of what i see or hear, and i'm a mess. that is the explanation for my username. hoorah.

In high school I wanted a new username and I altavista'd (Google wasn't quite there yet in terms of functionality) "Random Codename Generator" and it cycled until it came up with one that I liked..  I stuck with "Intrinsic Phoenix" and it has stuck ever since.

I also use it for game id's, gamertags, and any other online presence.

When I was playing Video games, me and my buddy made ourselves "yep" and "Nope" since yep is only 3 characters i had to extend my nickname so when in bf 2142 I created "Yepik" it just stack with me since then now even my family   calls me that way.

I was given the nickname Donut at my last job. They named me off the character from Red Vs Blue. The 417 is my bday, April 17. To be honest I actually had a pink shirt that said Donut on the back of it.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Well here comes a long story xD

I am from the netherlands and the dutch word for glue is lijm.

In my first year of high school, We had to work in groups for some geography project. During this project we had to glue all kind of things to a big piece of paper. I asked one of my groupmembers to hand me the glue (one of those pritt sticks http://www.degrotespeelgoedwinkel.nl/producten/01-299-0474/groot/pritt-lijmstick-20-gram.jpg). He handed it without the shell, so he accidently put some of the glue on my hand. I thought he did in op purpose so I put some glue on him and with a back and forward fight we hitted the other groupmembers as well, which resulted in a big glue fight. Since then I used the nickname Lijmer, like someone who puts glue on things and i stuck with it for the pas 5 years (you get it stuck with it , it is glue...).

Mine is just a rip-off from the word "pixel".

I've been using it everywhere for 6 or 7 years now. That was back in the days where I played Counter-Strike 1.6. A LOT.

I had no inspiration whatsoever back then, so I came up with Phikzel. I like it, and the cool part is that the username is never taken when I register on a website :D

For me, it's one of those names that just came along to me before 2004, although if i was force to track down source, it would probably be these 3 things.

1. used to play a lot of war types of games. (Only one now is World of tanks). So that's probably where "war" come's in.

2. When I was young, I love the digimon series and every creature ended in "mon". so that's where that came from.

3.  6 is my favorite number. So naturally i've put that in.

Beyond that, I can't explain it further due to how long ago since I made it.

A long long time ago in a classroom far far away. A friend of mine decided to call me Jay-Rizzy-Rod. I don't know why but he said it like that because my name is Jared. When deciding on a gamertag on xbox (gross I know) my girlfriend suggested on "zR1ZZYx" and I loved it.

I chose a very, very bad username when I was 12ish and it stuck with me for ~6 years.
Then I got sick of it, so I sat down and thought of this one.

At the time, I was on a laser-hobby binge, so one of the ideas was "The Laser" Which was super terrible still, but I tweaked to to DeLaser which, when you say it, does not sound so bad.

And now you know.

If you do a search for my last name, there are like 20 pages dedicated to me and my adventures.
