Back when I first really got on the Internetz (2007), I had heard of things like "DON'T USE YOUR NAME N00B" and "PUTTING YOUR NAME ON THE INTERNETZ MEANZ THAT RAPERS WILL FIND YOUUU." So I decided screw it I'll use my name in an epic sense to say SCREW YOU to those things and voila "TheKurtster" was born.

It's my YouTube channel name! I was trying to come up with a name for my new channel and I was just making random noises trying to hear if anything was unique. TheShmodo won in the end because it means nothing except my channel and its memorable, or at least I hope so.

Many years ago my brothers were using nicknames and their friends were using nicknames and i wanted one too. I asked them if i also could get a nickname and they started thinking. In the end they came to me with the nickname Boomy and i thought it was pretty cool. After that i have been using Boomy for all kind of things like games, forums, other websites and more. The dark part is something that i can't really remember why is there. I think i made it up when i used to play Runescape. I called my self Dark Luse which doesn't really make that sense, but does any nicknames do that now a days? I'm not sure if that's why i call my self names with Dark in front of them, but i think that is the reason i call my self DarkBoomy. I have also been using other names like Erkim and Chasameth, but those names have a hole other story.

I used back in COD 2 days, or other game, i can't remember, but game gives you by default name "Unknown Soldier", and i always used nick in that game "Unsoldier Known" :P. Because i suck in FPS :).
