Slow boot time on ssd

Timed 50 seconds from hitting the power button to being able to enter windows password.

It's not painfully slow, but the OS is on a Samsung 850evo from 2016 that I carried over from my last build.

Since switching from my 6600k to 3700x build, the boot times have been noticeably slower.

I recently formatted the drive and reinstalled windows. Still slow.

My suspicions are

The 250gb 850evo was near capacity for a while and that wore it down?

My system due to strange circumstance has 64gb of RAM and that takes a while to initialize?

3700x is on an x470(asus crosshair xii wifi), which isn't the idea chipset?

AMD systems take longer to boot than intel?

What is it about the motherboard that takes time compared to my old intel?

Start at UEFI only. Try turning on any fast boot options you see as well in the BIOS.

As for the part you asked me, it could be that the board simply takes a longer time to go through all its checks than your 6600k motherboard.

Some motherboards simply take longer to post, but usually that's seen on things like workstation or server motherboards.

Yeah you probably don't need CSM if you have Win10.

Have you updated the BIOS?

Disabled CSM, went from 50 seconds to 44.
