I've downloaded Mac os 7 in winworlds but how do you installed it to a VM? I remember it will not work on normal machine. Right?

OK. Then I have no clue. As far as I know, Mac OS prior 10.5 does not work on Intel/AMD machines.

I guess there might be some Hackintosh but don't know if you're gonna find any for Mac OS 7.

Good luck !

as to your question, if it is the old one it will be hard as @Niklos pointed out

I think so. MacOS 7 was meant to be run on an IBM CPU.

Yeah a VM will process X86 code, not IBM Power PC code. Apple back with Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard supported Rosetta to run legacy apps. But after that it was dropped. Main reason was to transition from their PowerPC to intel x86 in 2006.

Be sure to @Pickles von Brine if you want me to see your reply!

Virtual machines are not full emulators, they expect and require the CPU architecture to match.  You can certainly run Mac OS 7 on your system, but you will need the right software, and something like VirtualBox or VMWare is not it.

You cannot do it in any normal VM as classic macs use 8086 6800 based CPUs (the same as in Amigas & the SNES).

You need this - https://www.gryphel.com/c/minivmac/

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Mac OS 7 goes back even further than that, it was around the time Apple were transitioning from 8086 6800 to PPC.

Oh you are right. Damn, that is mad old. No way that is going to run in an emulator.

Partially, my early morning brain confused Intel 8086 with Motorola 6800. Luckily I noticed.
