macbookair Macbook Air 2020 overheating issue
To be precise, 100°C is NOT overheating. it's hitting 100°C, which is Tjunction - that means: The maximum Temperature the Die is allowed to hit.
Modern CPUs can not overheat anymore in first place, unless they have a defect. and GPUs neither. Even if you take the cooling off, they can not overheat.
When they hit this "Tjunction", they will throttle down to not exceed it. If that isn't enough, they shut down to protect themself.
So, i tried it on my 2018 Air. Not roblox, but another browser game, an idle clicker. CPU hits 99°C and stays there.
Possible, it won't be with the 2020 model, because it has 80% more Graphics performance, so it can do the same with less.
Or for that Browser Game, you could do this:
Unless ALL you do with the Device is playing Roblox only, and nothing else, there is really no reason to get a Macbook. Get a cheap Notebook and that's it^^ Or a Tablet.
