Damnit, 514. I was hoping to sneak into the top 500. I guess I need to use those Google cloud credits and bring a few Tesla's online! Really should have done that from the start, but hindsight and all that!

Okay, I shut it all down and started it back up again.

I have some difficulty believing that the CPU side gets an assignment without fail every time but the GPU side never does and that's something on THEIR end.

Can I get someone who understands the logs to look at this and give me an answer that's a little less "Help Desk 101 - Page 1 - Answer 1"?

The "...for this configuration" part confuses me. What "configuration" do they mean?

I'm on current drivers, I checked the bios and even though it's two years old it's the most current available for Vega 56, what could I be missing?

By configuration, they mean the Processing unit. In this case your GPU. The problem is that there are so many GPUs on the system that it might take a while to get a GPU Work Unit. That's just a server side issue.

You can try pausing and unpausing it, or running this in command prompt might help:

FAHClient --send-command request-ws

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this on the personal rig, only on Google Cloud VM instances.

Edit: I tried it, it should work

Okay, so only getting CPU to work may STILL be a server issue.

That makes at least a little sense to me.

I just didn't want to go to bed tonight and lose the night's processing because I missed something that someone else would have seen.

To be clear, I've been GIVEN work units three times, but all three failed but I can't tell WHY they failed.

There was one error regarding a CUDA module but that shouldn't be an issue because I"m not using an NVIDIA card.

Be warned that this will run ALL slots with advanced WUs.  You can do the same for each slot if you find certain slots have issues with advanced WUs.  My Phenom 1100T isn't stable with them, so the V56 runs it, but the Phenom doesn't.

R5 3600, 5700 XT, AX370 K7...  and that's plenty for me.  If you ignore the masses of other parts I occasionally put together and laugh about.

They've recently added a bunch of cpu WU that have kept us busy on the cpu side. The advanced client type makes nearly out of beta WUs available to you so you're pulling from a bigger pool

Are you Overclocked on that gpu?

I've got no OC on the GPU at all.

My CPU is OC to 3800 and my RAM is OC to 3200.

Mild, at best.

I rebooted when I reinstalled the GPU drivers.
