Need helping figure out a server box

So I have some old servers the company my friend works for threw out. I have four of them. They are 17inch wide, and about 28"inch long, with a height of about 2" in height. 

 

I am looking to maybe have an enclosed case with air vents in it, or a non-windowed case so it can breath still.

These cases do have sliders on them, which I dont think I would use, but would be nice if I want to upgrade quickly and not have to worry about the weight of each server.

 

This is the first time im looking at buying server cases or racks, so please let me know what you think.

 

Not sure if it will help much, but I plan on hosting game servers, as well as a home fire wall (just a a side project). I also have a Catalyst 2960 Series PoE-24 switch that I might put in this box as well.

These sound like 2U rack mountable servers. Racks/Cabinets exist that have closing doors. I don't think you need to do anything custom here. Off the shelf products exist for this application.

you can buy premade metal units that support them, or you can make custom wood ones if you don't want to pay the cost.

server racks can often be found cheap used. 50-100$ vs 200-500$+ new

Where would I find diagrams for drill holes and stuff if I decide to make custom wood? I also got some sheet metal I could use for added support.

custom racks are usually around 20 at the front because of items that stick out the side from mounting rail.s

Isnt it so the server can fit between the wood side panels, but also so that the screws that attach the server to the frame stays in that spot?
