I'd be fine with it. Use the free plan on Wix, buying a domain isn't necessary for anything like this, unless you want to. You are still getting the same security and analytics. Make it as horrible as possible, something that'll cause a seizure. If needed, I can make the site. Just give a few hours.

In order to upload a web page through wix you need there premium plan, it would honestly be cheaper just to buy the domain off of go daddy

Then don't pay. I've been running these free sites for months. Yeah, I always get that email to upgrade, but you don't have to. I even spoke to a rep at Wix, you'll get that banner ad up at the top, but you can keep the site free for as long as you want.
