Meshify C

HellTheCRoss

Hello, so i wanna know if rtx 2070 super rog strix will fit in meshify c. If it does, it's gonna be too tight and overheat the gpu because there's not much space between the gpu and the front fans? I don't know, i think it's a dumb question but i really like that case and if i buy a dual fan card like an evga xc ultra or a msi gaming x i don't think it will be the same performance as a 3 fan card with more power. I'll really appreciate some help or any advice.

Thank you!

what are the dimensions for the GPU?  The Meshify C has room for a GPU max length of 315mm.  Also from fractal's web-site:

Even the largest enthusiast-class GPUs leave plenty of room for thick triple-fan rads in the front. The adjustable drive cage can be moved or removed to fit even the lengthiest heavy-duty PSUs

if you are still concerned, then look into the Phanteks Eclipse P440A -> this case has a 420mm max GPU

BTW, I have looked at both for my build coming up.

I am going with the Meshify C.   The GPU I chose is a 300 mm GPU so I figure I have 15 mm to spare - lol.   It is my first build so I believe the measurements are correct based on what I have read.

I found this on the fractal design web-site as well:

  • GPU max length
315 mm with front fan mounted

So I definitely will have 15 mm between the card and the fan.

Yeah i was thinking the same, i checked the rog strix gpu and it's 300mm but i'm only concerned about thermals because it's kinda tight and maybe the front fans can't get much air through because of the size of the gpu. I don't know maybe i'm wrong.

Are you running the stock fans?

I have a rtx 2070 armour in my meshify C case. Plenty of room left - check dimensions on both cards to see if it fits

I think it's going to get warm in the case, but not excessively.

I suggest removing one or more of the blanks below (and maybe even above) the card to give warm air an extra easy escape route.

@Blademaster91 Yes, i'll buy another fan so i can have 2 intake in the front, 1 exhaust in the back, and the two fans from dark rock pro 4.

The meshify C does get warmer than full size ATX cases, but the gpu should be fine.

I'd recommend at least 1 140mm fan in the front for extra airflow.

You know the ones you have to take out when you install the card. I take out an extra one below the card to leave a larger gap for air to escape.

Just curious if the people saying meshify gets warmer got that from a YouTube video? If you are wise with your fans, that case can be one of the best air cooled cases you can use. If you have 50cfm fans and you are running them slow, then yes, it will run hot. Because you can’t have silence and high performance without higher temps.

Hey there. If you're worried about the Meshify C cramping your graphics card, and if you'd like to invest some extra bucks into a perfect case, might I suggest taking a look at the Meshify S2? Both have the same general design, though the Meshify S2 is bigger/longer.

I really like how short the length of Meshify C is compared to most cases, and that it's wide enough to put in some taller coolers.

If you're curious, you can check PCPartPicker for builds with the case to see just how much room you have.

https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/Y6Crxr

https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/BBrmP6

Here's example with the Asusu STRIX heatsink

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/MYyXsY

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/LwMZxr

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/bRfH99 (This one they used a vertical mount and still managed to fit it with front fans)

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/RLzYcf

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/qqcYcf

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/T94qqs

A warning, this case doesnt play nice with front mounted rads and AIO's. You can make it work, either by omiting a fan (like this guy did which is silly) or modifying the case to allow the fans to be placed on the other side of the case rails (in the "mesh" part of the front panel)

*Make sure to note the front panel trim he does too twoards the end!*

you write all about fans in the front, but it has the possibility for a fan front bottom too, front part of the PSU shroud is removable.
