Pc is running but not showing a display

Have you updated your BIOS before installing the new CPU? If not, have you ensured the current BIOS support Ryzen 3000 CPU's?

You need BIOS 1201 or newer.

 

Not that I would recommend a Ryzen 7 on this board though..

No I didn’t update bios didn’t think I needed to

The CPU released after the motherboard did, so the motherboard couldn't possibly have support for the newer CPU.

That is a case where a BIOS update is definitely needed.

 

Install the previous CPU and update the BIOS. Check how to update the BIOS in the motherboard manual and do check if you can just go to the newest version or if you need to go from one to another.

I still would not recommend a motherboard with no VRM cooling for a Ryzen 7 3700x.

On the bottom right of your motherboard there are a bunch of cables (at least there should be). These are called your front panel connectors and are responsible for connecting your case's features (power/reset buttons, hard drive LED, etc.) to your motherboard.

Are you sure these are connected properly, or more specifically are you sure the case's power button cables are connected to the right two pins on the motherboard?

 

Ensure there are no bent pins on the CPU too.

All the cables are in and there were like 3-4 bent pins but I was able to straighten them
