Posted February 11, 2020 Would you recommend this board? Have you had any experiences with this board? Is it great? Are there significantly better boards out there for the same price? Posted February 11, 2020 The Z390 board will only work with one of the listed CPU's, the 9700k. LGA 1151 has two versions. Version 1 = 6th and 7th gen CPU's = 100 and 200 series boards. Version 2 = 8th and 9th gen CPU's = 300 series boards. So a 6700K or 7700K won't work on a Z390 board. Anyways, it's a good board if you're gonna do some overclocking and such too. If you can wait until April it might for the best since the i7 10700K is exactly the processor you want but it will only release in April... it will also require a new motherboard.
