Sad to see how Latvia lost to Swiss 8 seconds before the end of the game.

Those are always the most suspensful games. I was worried the Canadian women might have let it go near the end for their last game!

 

 

Well, since it's 9am to 1pm across Canada, most of us are either in school or at work, so we can't watch it. The Olympics are difficult to follow when they are held at the other side of the world. It was the same with London, but at least we get Rio. 

Haha, one of my friends is taking every day Team Canada plays off. Hurray for flex days.

Yeah I would have liked to have seen a few more goals, it would help them out later on.

We'll see how they do against Austria tomorrow. They definitely stepped it up in the second and third periods.

Yes, would definitely be beneficial to have scored a few more goals. I believe goal differential is one of the tiebreaker methods after points and head to head match ups.

 

Haven't heard anything about Zetterberg except that he wasn't at practice today.

Edit- Just read that Zetterberg is out for the remainder of the tournament. That's a big loss.
