If you know it's what you want...buy it.  It's a great card...don't think prices are going to come down in the near future for it.  The new Nvidia sku's will just cost more.

Can't really justify a 2070 super for 500 when the 2060 just dropped to 280, it's kinda relative.

the 2060 really did drop.  I would wait for a little while longer before buying an RTX.  As more AMD cards come out, Nvidia will probably lower their prices to compete.  when the rx5600xt starts stepping on the 2060s toes, the 2060 may get even cheaper.
