WIFI Card not Detecting on NVME

Just installed new 1TB Nvme drive everything working except my WIFI... WIFI card not even detecting however i switch to standard SDD. all working fine there.

I install all drivers Nvme no sign of showing anything even in device manager .......what a douchebag!

You probably plugged it into a PCIe slot that gets disabled when an NVMe drive is installed. Check motherboard manual and change slot if that's the case.

Assuming it's a ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING since it seems too hard to give the complete real model designation on that board when you use an NVMe drive in slot 2 2 PCIe slots are disabled.

This mobo has 2 m.2 slots. Which one did you put your drive in? Should be the top one preferably, then there is no conflict.

Switch to another slot on your M.2 card. Pretty much any other slot would work.

installed on bottom now i think its a slot2. fpr top 1 need to remove heatsink plate its undernet

Top slot is faster since it's got dedicated lanes, and thus also doesn't conflict with anything. Plus the heatsink is precisely meant to cool your SSD...

Yep, as we said...

But you'll still only get less than half the potential performance you could have from your NVMe drive as long as it's in the bottom slot.
