Help, Canon 80D footage looks grainy and dull!

Hello, I am shooting in a well lit area with 5 lights in a studio setup and I am having issues with the way the video looks. I am shooting in A+ with a tripod. Below is the video with the issue. All help appreciated!

Can you describe the issue in more detail? There's not enough information to go on here, I don't see an immediate issue other than the double shadows you've got going on.

what are the settings? ISO, framrate, res, f stop, shutter speed?

Is this footrage color graded? You often have to do that first to get good colors

It is on automatic, also I am new so what do you mean ye color grading?

I feel the color and picture look drab and dull. I feel It should be more sharp...

This is a big part of your problem. Learn how to shoot manual to get the best results; you don't want the camera to be making decisions for you.

go watch a bunch of videos on the 80D on manual,

Shutter speed for video is normaly double the framerate

24P =1/50

30p =1/60

60p= 1/120

If my DSLR vidoes were decent I would link them but they need work.

I don't see an issue with the original, unless you are seriously pixel peeking with something like a 4k monitor, which you should stop doing.

Seriously, learn how to do video work; go read some books and watch some videos on the topic. If you don't know what you are doing, you aren't going to get good results.

I don't see any issues either. Video looks well exposed with good color.

Is there a certain video/image that shows what look you're trying to get?

I don't really see a problem either, it could be your monitor isn't accurate/calibrated? depends on how large of a screen you watching it on etc
