Well correct me if I am wrong,I'm looking at the review on this PSU but no one mentioned the following:

I see that OLED screen is on the right side of the PSU,so obviously to be able to see it,by just looking at the PSU, the FAN must be on top, which is awkward, and to be able to switch the PSU so the fan faces the bottom of the case, you would see OLED screen upside down, right?

Correct me if I am wrong.

I like this PSU a lot,it's my OCD that likes PSU OLED calculator, but one think that would keep me not to buy is this mentioned above, and I don't own aRGB header on boaord, just RGB one.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Yup, for the OLED screen to be visible, the fan needs to be faced upwards.

I wouldn't really recommend this PSU. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good unit but besides the looks it doesn't offer enough for the price IMO. I'd get something else instead.

If you're looking for other recommendations let us know, along with your location and budget.

Lol,Asus engineers.

I mean it's not that big of an issue, since I don't think it heats up that much but facing fan upwards in a close pc case is a disaster.

What were they thinking about?Hmm...

I don't know my friend, there are really a lot of PSU ot there,I thought about buying seasonic prime platinum 750 w because it's discounted here, but when I saw it doesn't have OCP I gave up.

I like EVGA ones G2 or G3 series, but prices here are raised well over 150 euros for 750-850 models.

I like the OLED screen on this one,but buying I wouldn't have rgb effects and it's worthless to me then.

Asus could simply put RGB header instead of aRGB.

Asus=overpriced as usual in every component in PC:

Thermaltake Irgb 1200w 80+ platinum is on that price point. RGB fan you know.

It does, it's a good unit, if you can get it for a low price then definitely do it, no need to pay extra for gimmicks.

Dude I don't need 1.2kW I'm not using PC for crypto currency lol.

650W is more then enough for me,for single GPU system.

No point since here the components are like 30 % more expensive, but thank you.

I think I even saw some of the EVGA models of having OCP so I probably messsed up with Seasonic.

The price here for 650 P2 is damn 150 euros which is really a lot.

Uh, what for may i ask ?

all the rgb fans in my case use molex,3 included, and I plan to add 2 more on the bottom,so I need a lot of molex connectors.

A friend of mine told me that 850 G2 is best unit so far, maybe G3 is even better because of the fan,but as I told you overpriced here.

Haven't had any of the experience with Seasonic they are good probably but dunno personally the look is boring,EVGA is somehow robust, the bigger the more I like.

I still can't believe what Asus did with this unit, what a huge mistake.

Nope to both, EVGA G2 is decent at most, like on the level of Corsair CX\CXm. G3 are worse, G5 are somewhat decent too, neither of them are close to those units i've mentioned above. Seasonic PSUs are very good, just stay away from older revision Focus, one with FM\FX on the box.

Definitely better than G2, somewhat better than P2 too due to multirail. Refer to this thread by the way to compare PSUs :

Yeah I know about that Tier list thanks to that guy.

But what is awkward to me,on first place is CM V series, and the guy which is my supplier had many of the V series fail, platinum ones.

Too bad Seasonic Focus Platinum is not discounted any more (was 10 %).

I tried to find on yt what usually fails inside PC when a PSU fail, you know?

Have this dude who is selling PSUs without warranty, but new ones,he probably orderes from amazon,so no warranty.so I thought about buying some model which really has low failure rate like 1 out of 50.

Good to know, i never really considered them really, they're too expensive. But the platform itself should be very good quality (on V-Platinum), it's Delta OEM but i guess it still depends on Cooler Master QC which isn't very stellar.

Good PSUs just cease to work if they fail, there's a plenty of redundant protections and if you're buying from reputable brand the manufacturer warranty are usually worldwide, you lose retailer warranty but still have manufacturer warranty. You might need to return it to the country of purchase to claim it but still.

Edit: and in most cases you'll need original purchase receipt too so ask that dude to print it for you.

Edit 2: it is really that hard to ship stuff from Germany\Italy to Bosnia ?

CORSAIR RM1000i

that one I could get for 130 euros but no warranty at all, although it's brand new.

We don't have Corsair here in eastern Europe.

I'ts risky to buy it but then for 130 euros I'd take my chances and risk if this PSU fails hopefully won't damage other components inside my PC.

The HX is still considered a higher end PSU. Both have multi rail, and iirc, both are based on the HXi.
