Switching graphiscs cards, do I need to reinstall drivers?

You won't need to do any driver reinstallation, unless you're wanting to go from a workstation environment to a gaming environment (Studio and Game Ready), or vise versa, a 1070 is a 1070, and they'll be using the same stock Nvidia driver.

Hello, if I want to switch graphics cards, same type (GTX 1070) but a different brand (replace Gigabyte Windoforce with MSI Gaming X) can I just swap the cards? Or do I need to reinstall drivers? I am (still) using Windows 7 Pro. Thanks.

Why would you do that? You got it for free? Should be fine, try it out and reinstall with DDU if nessesary. (I would do it anyway) - In DDU you can choose delete and shutdown (for installing new graphics cards) - remember to run DDU in safe mode, you can restart to safe mode by opening DDU and it will prompt you  choose safe mode.
