Hello!

 

Sorry for the comic sans...  

 

So I am preparing for a PC build, gaming and recording mostly, and I was wondering if what I have so far is a good budget pc...  Its on PC part picker and I haven't actually got anything (except some spare hdds)

 

So what do you think?

It's a train wreck. Which country? What's your budget? Need os/monitor/peripherals?

I see a lot of problems, this build is awful.

 

  • Top-tier and expensive CPU with a "budget" rig.
  • Bad and overpriced cooler to go with it.
  • A very weak GPU in comparison, why would you get a 1650 with a 9700K?!
  • No SSD, it's almost 2020, wtf??
  • Too much/expensive RAM if you're only gaming.
  • And perhaps the most egregious error; the awful PSU.

What's your budget and country, we can put together a better one for you. 

 

Tbh I have a hard time believing this is real, unless you really have done zero research.

Gaming + Recording, Ryzen all the way..
Gaming without Recording,..  Value is still Ryzen for Many extra Cores + Near Intel IPC

Ryzen 3600 - 3700x or even Ryzen 2600-2700x ranges...would easily have you covered for YEARs, and has a better (also cheaper) upgrade path too...

 

 

You only buy Intel's IPC for squeezing the last few frames out of a 2080Ti specifically,.. on top of what Ryzen gives, but you pay through the nose for it.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
