my AIO is super noisy

So I've been using the Coolermaster Masterliquid 240 for a while and in the beginning it was super loud and I assumed that's just the case but then realized I mixed up the 2 connectors and my fans had been spinning at 2000 rpm constantly. After I fixed it I still find it really loud though at 1100-1400 rpm which also does seem a lot because even at idle it's over 1000 rpm. The radiator is fastened really well in the location suggested in my case so it's not a rattling, just a loud buzzing from the fans and I also removed as much dust as I could without taking it out completely. Just wondering if this is probably just how they are and I have to deal with the noise or if I'd be better off starting to look for a replacement.

Is it the fans or the pump?  AIO pumps can and often are quite noisy.

Definitely the fans. Thing is eberywhere I looked people keep saying how quiet this exact model is supposed to be so that makes me wonder wth it could be.

You can make a fan curve to adjust the fan speed.

But that will affect the cooling performance,

I have a Cooler Master fan on my CPU cooler and it's fairly quiet even after a few hours of gaming.

Maybe your fans are defective.

Noctua are the best all around, be quiet! focus on silent fans, they have good fans too.

I have the CM AIO SP fans - they are not anything particularly good for radiators nor sound.  Im unimpressed completely with them.  To that point, my CM AIO on RR1 does not run with CM fans, but with Arctic P12s

I prefer, for affordability, Arctic P12 value pack (5 fans $27 shipped) for my loops as even at max speed they are a low sone level (its not a grating on the nerves fan noise) and perform very well without spending the majority of the money on your cooler...on the fans.

Also, run you pump at max speed - I personally have never had a loud AIO pump - and your fans slower for no noise.

See here you can't exactly get cheap pc parts so it's going to be probably around $50 to replace the fans unless I can find some crazy offer but it's good to hear I'm not completely insane and these fans are probably louder than they should be

I will not be surprised if they threw their cheapest fans on those AIOs,

Cooler Master do a lot of shady anti-consumer decisions,They wanted me to pay $30 shipping for an AM4 upgrade kit even though their warehouse is not that far.

But Noctua charged me $1 shipping for an AM4 upgrade kit straight from Austria (I combined the Noctua AM4 kit with CM's AM3 kit to make it work with my 212 EVO)
