Just realized some people might not understand how this problem might ever occur, just in case you copy and paste something or send text about cheating to the wrong person

Not that I know of, if you are one of those who sends drunk messages to your ex. Do what I do, hide your phone.

Not sure there is an app but sounds like Darwinism is working properly

 

If you do a thing, you need to adjust other things so that first thing doesn't get known.  Ie.  Drink less, be less dumb when you do drink, cheat less, or get better at it.

Not really but I also don't see a need for that kind of app to exist. If you're a cheating sack of shit why would anyone ever develop an app to help you cover up how pathetic and sad you are for ruining another persons self esteem?

FYI< WhatsApp and the like are specifically used to avoid texts being noticed on phone bills, or by another device when linked on same account, etc.

 

Snapchat was created so you can send pics that auto delete.   What pics do you not want sticking around?

That's auto-correct, and it comes default set on most every phone (at least it has been default on since my Note 3, and I've had to turn it off).

 

As for apps to assist cheaters, yes there are many. Likely created by cheaters. But they are out there.

 

As for apps to prevent drunk texts, I vaguely recall a couple apps that you can turn on that will just not let the messages send until the next day, or whenever you deactivate the block or whatever. It isn't something I would use, so it didn't stick in my brain-noodle.

But none of them require you to confirm you want to send the text or stop it from sending because of the contents, I get that its easy to hide stuff nowadays but what OP is looking for doesn't exist

When I'm not in an active discussion and start a new one with someone, I just schedule my first texts for 5 minutes in the future or so, so I can delete/edit them if need be.

Quite useful. If you don't forget to press the Schedule Message option on your last text and it suddenly sends everything backward... lol I wonder if there's an option to delay every messages by like, 30 seconds, just to make sure you didn't fuck up, like some email providers offer.
