Nvidia 1080 Will it survive?

Palaiologos XII

I recently nabbed a GTX 1080 on Ebay used for $200 plus $12 Shipping.

Will this let me play games in 1080p 75Hz for the next two years maybe upwards to 2021? In High to Ultra?

I could have gotten a RX 5700 or the XT variant but seen this card in Ebay. Im pairing it with a R5 1600X and 16Gb 2400 DDR4 Ram.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I am currently gaming on a 8600k with GTX 1080 on a 1440p 165hz monitor.

I avarage about 90-150 FPS in most games on high settings. If you plan to use this GPU in 1080p it will definitely last you atleast 2-3 years maybe more.

CPU: i9 9900K   Cooler: NH-D15   RAM: Kingston Fury 4 x 8GB 3600MHz CL17   Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F   GPU: ASUS 3080 TUF   Case: In Win D-Frame   PSU: Corsair HX850i   Storage: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe (OS), 500GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe (Games), 2TB Crucial BX500 SSD (Storage)   Monitor: Samsung Odyssey Neo G9.

If 75hz you mean 75 fps, sure could get you another 2 years if you don’t mind changing settings. It’s already old and games are advancing faster than ever. Asking a lot here.
