1000€ Work / Business laptop

Gapi

My mom needs a work laptop for around 1000€ (sort of flexible price) and it's up to me to find a good one. She wants a good battery life and good cooling (so a lifted keyboard is a bonus). Anyone have any suggestions? Not gaming, nothing fancy just a good value good battery life laptop with a solid processor and a good keyboard. Thanks.

What's she using it for?

She works at a high school, so a lot of writing emails and word documents which means a good keyboard would be necessary. Mostly just microsoft word, a 500€ acer aspire would probably be more than enough but she insists on 1000€

like MacBook 1000 euro? tell your mother about exploiting ads by market. just don't get 1000 laptop for non-multicore editing stuff or gaming.

how about Ideapad 530S 650euro

i7,SSD and 8gigs of ram. SSD. but still to expensive for me. although it will not struggle even heavy task.

the cheaper option was Ideapad 330S for 560 euro

i5 8250U 256GB SSD 4Gigs of ram. i recommend upgrade to 8Gigs because 4gigs to small.

i choose Lenovo because their Keycaps are amazing. other than product i mentioned above you may need another person to help. my suggestion is to find a processor with i5 8250U at least. a 4 core cpu is recommend even for light task in 2019. idk about how your mom open browser and words. but as far as i know i do think i5 4core is enough for teacher task. the next part is ram which i recommend 8Gigs. browsing email while doing heavy writing takes ram a lot. i would believed 4 gigs was laggy. 8 gigs at minimum. the last one is SSD to make sure fast tho what else.

so yeah i5 or 4 core cpu, 8 gigs of ram. and ssd for minimum teacher works.

  Spec: Macbook Air 2017

ProcessorPU: ii5 (I5-5350U |

| RAM: 8GB LPDDR3 |

| Storage: 128GB SSD

 | GPU: Intel HD 6000 |

| Audio: JBL 450BT Wireless Headset |

The thing is the school is gonna pay for it anyways so might as well take a good one. So far I think this one is solid, what do you think:

HP Probook 450 G6

i7-8565U

16GB ram

512gb ssd + 1tb 5400rpm hard drive

comes with win 10 pro

Lenovo Thinkpad x1 can be had for a 1000, otherwise x390/t490/t590 depending on size preference.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
