If your PSU only has a single PCI-E cable, chances are this PSU won't be happy about running a GTX980.

Those work as long as the PSU has enough juice

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

2x molex to 6pin is better than 2x sata to 6pin

 

Most people will tell you no, to get another PSU.  If your PSU will handle the rated wattage of your system, and you have 2 molex available - Id do it all day long but then again Ive never blew anything up in 20+ years of doing this stuff so none of it scares me.  And Ive done some jank sh*t

Never use an adapter like the in a system you care about, if your PSU lacks the connectors then it's inadequate for the job.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Eh, if it works it works - I play around with a lot of older hardware and enjoy finding out what works, and what doesn't.  So far my luck must be 100% awesome in 20 years.

While not entirely advisable and you will be more subjective to a failure, using a molex adapter will work.

Ok I Know My PSU Has Enough Power Just I Dont Have The Money Right Now To Buy A New PSU It Will Only Be Temporary
