Shadow of the Tomb Raider RTX FPS

Gop

Hi all,

Running a 2070 and a 9700k, is it usual to be getting 80ish FPS in tombs and 30-40 FPS in populated areas?

Im getting huge stutters in the towns, occasionally sinking to sub 5 FPS for a big stutter.

Actually if your GPU is missbehaving you should likely DDU in safe mode and then reinstall the latest driver fresh new, just make sure to already have the latest driver downloaded so you can do everything with internet cut off in order to avoid Windows Update installing their messy OEM drivers.

Running 1440, max on just about everything. The general FPS doesn't bother me too much, more curious if the massive frame drops are normal.

Are you running stock clock speeds or overclocked and what do your temps look like?
