well, i knew about the difference in sizes hahahaha, but both fit my case, i was asking performance wise, maybe ill go for the u14s, same price as the dark rock slim+shipping, and just 3$ more than u12s, only thing is that on the future i might buy a black noctua fan because those browns... hahahah thanks for the help

Ah sorry, yes sure it will perform a bit better and more silent. The 140mm will have to turn at less RPM to move the same volume of air. Also the cooler itself is bigger = same perf at lower RMP for the 14

and yes... maybe you can try to sell the included ones and get Noctua cromax fans. They are the same but black

also noctua has some black and colored shrouds for the coolers wich Look nice

Thinking about getting an air cooler for my new ryzen 3700x, even though  wraith prism looks really nice with its RGB, it still hits high 80`s for full load with the default clocks config, so i was looking into buying a nice air cooler, but (i think) there is no need to be a big beefier one, since ryzen doesnt OC that much, i was thinking in getting one of them both in the title, what should i go? bequiet`s one looks way better, but does it loses in performance that much to the u12s or even the u14s? And is it worth to go a bit more expensive into the dark rock 4 price range for maybe just the auto OC of ryzens or even a slight manual OC?

yeh, but the coolers mentioned by OP outperform it.

Simple answer:

awesome performance, excellent reliability: Noctua

looks, good perf and good reliability: BeQuiet!

hmm, nice, do u think the u12s or dark rock slim will be enough for 3700x? Like in auto OC mode or something

Both will be fine but personally Idd Go Noctua because of the (a bit) better performance and lesser noise

the Freezer is also nice but a other performance point

Have you tried doing a voltage offset?

Nah, not really that into tweaking voltage and stuff, thats why im not even looking into a big cooler, just a top quality mid range one

YES! u14s is 14cm in height of the fan. So it’s a 140mm fan and 12 is, well, 12mm

see if you can for the 14. It performs better and is the flagship in single tower coolers for them

Oh yeah, giving a look now on those, looks pretty good for future upgrades, think i might get the u14s now and in the future get some of those extras, thanks!!!
