S12II Evo 450W

so i kinda being told around that U9 is worse than S12II evo 450W i mean it looks like it doesnt even have DC-DC or even S12II for a price of 70$ which you can buy either CX550 or Pure Power 11 and still debate over it idk why. honestly i just need confirmation about U9 and S12II Evo 450W can anyone explain about this thing?

I cannot count how many times I've seen ppl buying psu because of brand name. Most notably, fsp, cooler mester or seasonic. Here in hungary another very popular brand is chieftec. Most buyers just ignore recommendations and buy according to their stubborn prae(mis)conceptions. 

 

Seasonic lower end models are unfortunately overpriced, well above their real worth

ah I particulalry was referring to local FB groups in my above post. Those are typically rubbish platforms for any recommendations. Not to mention, a forum like this is much easier to search, browse or validate on the long term. Don't bother with those, let them believe they are right.

well its only my at facebook there is still someone reasonable at Kaskus so i kinda hang around kaskus more rather than facebook.

they reccomend a mobo that dont have heatsink just straight for low end MSI boards like B450 A-pro or even worse VDH series, well i do stand still and still said X370m Pro 4 because its the same as B450 Pro 4 anyway.

well if its for ryzen 3 its ok but for ryzen 5 2600x with an AIO that wanted to be Overclock sure you want 1?

the price is lower anyway so i still will reccomend that X370m Pro 4

in other words, they are on my blacklist now. 

 

if you dont have good VRMs, at least get an aircooler to cool the damn thing
