Can not remove PIN sign in option in windows 10, it's grayed out

Not to go into the story why I even have the PIN, it's here, on May Win 10 update, and I can not remove it. It's grayed out.

 

 

Anyone else had the issue?

3. Select Sign-in options.
4. Look for PIN. Since you have already created a pin, you should be getting option as Forgot my PIN, click on that.
5. Now click on Continue.

That didn't work as well, tried it. I did fix it by a dumb workaround, have edited OP

I had the same problem, tried all the suggestions I could find and non of them worked. Eventually I found a solution. 

 

Settings> Accounts> Your Info> sign in with a local account instead

 

once you are using a local account rather then signing in with the Microsoft account then you should be about to remove the pin, password, or just or the command (net user username *) "replace username with your username" then enter nothing for the password to have windows auto sign you in.
