What chip are you overclocking? How far do you want to push it?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I wish people would stop asking for "the best" of  * insert random stuff here *

The best is subjective.... depends on your budget

The looks is also subjective... i may prefer black/gray only boards, you may prefer RGB and bling.

If someone is asking for the best you can assume that budget isnt a factor unless its stated so.

And about the looks, if I havent specified any criteria so that implies that im open for suggestions.

its all a matter of perception :)

A mid-tier B450 board has adequate power delivery for a 2600. If you plan to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 someday with the same "as far as possible" approach, consider looking at a higher-end X470 board with better VRMs.

Alternatively, you could wait and see what the 500-series boards come out priced at and what their VRM situation is. If you plan to upgrade to Ryzen 3000 down the line, it'd be worth your while.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Probably the Steel legend or the Tomahawk. But I would wait for the new X570 mobos before buying.

sounded like he just needed to get something off his chest, but when it comes to mobos, i just think of vrm lol, the mortar's pretty damn good, i'd wait for the x570 though, the asus matx looks sick.
