What is the life span of  amd processors

What is the life span of  amd processors and can stability and stability as Intel processors

 

and

are AMD CPU  considered as reliable and efficient as Intel CPUs?

They are equal quality afaik

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

From what I have experienced, the lifespan is generally the same, as in the CPU usually is still in good working order when it is time to really upgrade it.

I don't see why they'd be significantly different to Intel processors, even older, power and heat hungry architectures are running fine still.

 

It's more down to how the end user runs the chip than the construction itself. Idling your PC at 60*c compared to 35*c for example, over several years, might make a small difference. But that's on you.

Officially Intel states their CPU can sustain 15 years of usage while AMD states 10 years of usage.

Nowadays with Zen2 (Ryzen 3000 series) and Intel still on Coffee Lake (i-series 8000 and 9000 series) yeah they are pretty much the same on reliability and efficiency.
