Nice Thin and Light Laptop under 1300$?

I'm looking for a good productivity laptop for school and need some help finding one thats good

What I want-

- i5 or i7

- Good battery life

- thin design

- between 13 and 15 inch panel (possibly)

- The ability to play maybe some minecraft from time to time

you can get the Dell XPS 15 with an i7 and a 1050ti for $1250 (with coupon 50off699) on dell's website right now.

My hp pavilion g6 lasts 21 hours on a google chrome page. ?

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

Min how many hours of battery life? Any preference on weight?
Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable RAM?

Any other requirements?
