What is a good price for my GTX 1080 TI?

EchoV3

Hi, so I was recently selling my hardly used Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card and some guy said I was scamming people out of money if I sold it for a certain amount. One fan blade is broken off (Will have pictures of it) but it is hardly used due to SLI and not really needing to be used at all. So what do you guys think would be a good price, never overclocked it or used it for mining just gaming.

The card didn't release at 1350, it has vastly inflated in price due to the fact that it was replaced by the 2080. It is by no means worth anywhere near that amount, what makes you think it does?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Your card isn’t brand new, the go for about 550-600 used. Check anywhere, and you’ll see. Honestly I wouldn't even try selling it for 550 because of that broken fan. Try selling it for 500.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Cards go down in value over time. When selling a GPU the price you get for the card won't be anywhere near what you bought it for, especially if it has some damage.

As an example of how cards depreciate, where I live you can get an EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 for $700 in almost perfect condition (it was $1320 new). The price of the card almost halved over the least 2 years.

In the UK maybe £400-£500. Depends on what else is available at the time.

Bare in mind bog standard cars go for around £400-£450, urs may be a strix but its damaged, and 1080ti's perform roughly the same regardless of model

Unfortunately that was an inflated price, not to mention it's older gen tech now and cards depreciate in value very quickly. $500-$550 because the broken fan it's also not as expensive. These cards seem to be priced around this range in the used market.

I wouldn't pay more than $500 new and only new, since they're dated cards.  It's still a good card, but it's told tech no matter how you look at it, so it's bein phased out.  The new Navi cards are also comin into play soon (July-September release), but the older cards are mastered tech so they're highly desirable which's skyrocketin their prices.  Many literally cost more than the new tech due to rarity.  I purchased my GTX 1070 TI when the RTX cards were announced, so the price dropped to $430-480 brand new, but they soon skyrocketed up once people realized how overpriced and defective the RTX cards were.

Be careful w/old tech, especially if it's used.  There obviously isn't much for high end cards in terms of NVIDIA that're worth it due to defects, so it's understandable you'd want to stick w/mastered and reliable tech of last generation.

I know they're not on the same league or exactly what you're lookin for, but here's an option for a new GTX 1070, if you're interested:
