Black mark on my brand new motherboard

Hello guys
Recently i bought msi meg z390 ace motherboard and when i opened it to see the motherboard i noticed that there is a weird black spot on the top right corner where aio I/O shield installed im worry and i want to know is this normal or my mobo is damaged
I appreciate all answers

Residual flux from soldering, almost certianly.

 

Flux is non-conductive by nature and will poise no issues.

 

You can RMA your board for this, but there is no need to.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)
