Best cpu as of May 2019

I’m looking for the best cpu for gaming and streaming. The price doesn’t matter. Anything that won’t bottleneck a rtx 2080.

 

 

edit forgot to mention this build will take some time to get this build done, like a year

I say 9900k is the best cpu for now (exlcluding hdet class).

But if you incorporate pricing, 2700x is the one.

Yeah I been reading articles that is really good cpu, just need a good cooler.

it depends on if you want to do liquid or air cooling

some are good, some aren't

 

tho i like air more anyways... quiet, cheap and noctua makes them

its your choice.

 

the 9900k is very powerful for gaming, streaming, and editing, but it runs pretty hot so you have to buy the adequate cooling for it.

No intel will have New CPUs out relativly soon.

 

Another coffeelake refresh. This time with 10 cores on 14nm. Which will face off against a 12/16 core on 7nm.

 

Next year it appears they have another 14nm chip planned based on roadmaps.
