Is this rtx 2080 worth getting?

But sometimes when you just want your dream build for the sake of having it... you know how it ends.. you don't look on those 50$ you could spare

Yeah, you don't look on the that 50$, of course not. But what you do look on is 150$!!!! If I could pay £610, or pay £750 for 5-10% better performance and some better cooling fans, I know which one I'm picking. And it ain't the 750 one. We can't possibly recommend a £750 card when there's one for around £600 that offers pretty much the same performance. It's ludicrous.

If you're trying to save money, you go for the Radeon VII in this case. If you've got money to burn, you go for the 2080ti. You don't get some over-over-over-overpriced 2080 with some better fans on it.

With my phanteks 350x? thats good then. I heard that the cooler master one is built good but the cable part is a bit fragile and not that flexible if I am correct. I also done some research and found that phanteks are also selling one.

You'll be fine with either one, they will both fit your case so it's your call..

ray tracing is a gimmick gpu refresh just like hairworks and physX and we both know how much of a dumpster file they were. just buy a 1080TI for games as the foreseeable future will use rasterization for rendering. on the used market (Ebay) you can find 1080ti around $400

There is no enemy. The foe on the battlefield is merely the manifestation of that which we must overcome. The doubt, and fear, and despair. Every battle is fought within. Conquer the battlefield that lies inside you, and the enemy disappears like the illusion it is.

Only amazon is my option tbh, cant buy from ebay. I also might do nv link in the future so its kinda helpful if I get an rtx card.

RTX is step forward especially for lower power consumption, Better NVENC core, Ray tracing and more so it's worth it definitely

theres absolutely no reason to get a premium version of the 2080 other than looks/fan noise, just get a redeon vii or if you have too much money to burn, a 2080 ti.

There's absolutely no reason to get a basic version BECAUSE of noise unless your putting a water block on it.  My Strix was open box it was less than unopened box basic cards.
