Windows not booting without old hard drive.

So I recently got an SSD but made a mistake to install windows on it while my other windows on what was my HDD was connected. Now when I go to boot up, it makes me pick between __ volume of windows, and I'm sick of it. Tried disconnecting the hard drive but that resulted in my computer just booting up to bios and nothing else someone, please help me!

That first partition on Drive 1 is the bootloader for Windows 10.

 

Only solution is to reinstall with it disconnected.

You need a boot partition on the C drive. 

 

You need to shrink the partition first - You might be able to do this in Disk Management (depending how the files are distributed). 

Then open CMD and type  

bcdboot c:\windows /s c:

Power down, disconnect the old drive, and then turn back on. It should boot
