I'd be confident in saying that's fake, $62.99 is extremely cheap for a 2700X. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

It's Ebay, if you don't get a 2700X, and there wasn't a caveat you missed in the ad, you'll get your money back.

I saw a 9600k cpu on there for $150 the other day, looked at the feedback and all negative about seller not shipping the items

Yeah I double checked over the ad to make sure it wasn't just the box or something.

I know about the buyers protection guarantee so I went ahead and bought it just in case I do get it.

Could be messed up.. broken, lemon or other problems.

Says new so if it is I can just return it even though it says no returns. Or RMA with AMD if it's not stolen off a truck or something

Its likely something like a c2d or something, or some old AMD Athlon. In that case you can just send a picture and your complaint to ebay in which their ebay account will be given a strike or promptly deleted along with your money swiftly returned to you.

I found the seller, it's probably a hacked account. The other items for sale and items that were sold were not at all like the newest items for sale and were all sold in GBP and in the UK and now suddenly there's 4 'hot' tech items for sale shipping from California when all they've sold before were stainless steel turn buckles and spray nozzles.

 

eBay will refund your money after a while, but I'm confident you'll never see your processor or anything. As a non buyer I have no real way of reporting them to eBay but hopefully they'll catch on quickly.
