Can a Pentium II 300 Run windows 10?

All I ask is whats in the title ( can a pentium II 300 Run windows 10)  I know it specifies that cpus should be 1ghz but I have heard of people getting away with worse hardware.

Current main PC:

 

CPU: R7 5800x (PBO undervolted)

GPU: 7900XT

RAM: 32gb Kingston Fury @ 3600mhz

MOBO: Asus ROG B550 F Gaming Wifi

CASE: Xtia Xproto ATX

 

Server PC:

 

CPU: Xeon X5690

GPU: R9 Fury X

RAM: Assorted 4gb sticks (24gb total)

MOBO: Asus Sabretooth X58

CASE: Alienware Area 51 ALX

I wouldnt even think about it! unless eveyrthing you do is on cmd!!!!!!! and i doubt if you get it open.....between an hour or two!

Well humor me would it work at all? like would windows understand its running on a freaking pentimum 2?

Get Crunchbang++, install Midori, and you should be able to get something that's ""usable"". or tinycore

Not a chance, I had a laptop with a pentium T4400 and it wouldn't let me upgrade from win7 to win10 because of it.

I only got it to upgrade by going to a Core 2 Duo P8700

win10 requires some cpu instruction sets that the P2 simply doesn't have so... no. not worth the effort.

No, the CPU does not have the necessary instruction sets. For Windows 10, you will need PAE, NX, and SSE2, none of which the Pentium II can perform. I do know you can run Windows 7 on a Pentium II, I've seen it done on YouTube once a while back. Windows 7 is the last Windows operating system that didn't rely on any modern instruction sets to run, though an update does cause it to break on systems without SSE2.

I think a P2 would be missing instructions as mentioned above, not to even talk about just CPU power

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
