It's the original Zen 14nm so it'd be compatible in case you need to use one to update BIOS, although you could also always take it to a local store? either ways good luck!

Now you should be fine, though theres still a chance it could be with an non-updated bios

It's not about model or brand, it's about the motherboard being manufactured before or after Zen+ release.

 

If you buy one that was manufactured before Zen+ release you WILL have to update it's BIOS in order to work, there is no way around it nor no way of knowing if you'll get one ready for it or not.

It's going to be the same response for all B350 x370 boards, theres a chance it might not be updated. If you're worried about it, get a B450 or x470 board

No way to tell for sure if it has it, until you have booted up.

I run my 2700X on a MSI X370 board so yes, they work fine. The upcoming Ryzens will also run fine on X370 with a bios update.

The 2200G and 2400G have Zen cores, so the 200GE has them as well.

No, it won't.

You need the CPU Code.

And to my knowledge that is not installed on any X370 Board out of the box.

I'm pretty sure AMD will still send out "rental" CPUs for updating your BIOS, and those don't cost you anything.
