i dont get how u cant like multiple monitors.....

like what dont u like about them?

They take up so mutch space. (I can't even see what's going on on all 3 monitors.) The performance hit. (But this would also happen with a higher res monitor so this is not that important) The bezels...  (All the monitors i ever had had really big bezels like my PA278Q the bezel is huge.)

true space is an issue

performance hit? just because u have multiple monitors doesnt mean u run ur games on all of them... i use some for me games and some for streams, music control voice chat control etc. its more for productivity and such not for gaming (for me at least)

there are alot of "frameless" ips displays out now, but like i said it doesnt matter tyo me cause im not gaming on all of them just one

PA278Q?

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

This is why I'm glad my desk is massive and I can fit 6 monitors along side each other :) You don't need to play on all three monitors though so there's not really going to be a performance hit, plus when you use more monitors long enough the bezels are kinda ignored by your eyes.

I'm already mad because of the bezels of my PA279Q being so big...

Yeppers. I need to by a small round extension for my desk so the 6th monitor doesn't have to sit on top of my drawer unit. But that is only in landscape orientation. In portrait I had no problems.

6 monitors FTW!!!

Moving from portrait to landscape, separating my computers for better airflow, cleaning up cables, and generally cleaning up my desk took almost 4 hours. I can't blame you for not cleaning your desk.

It's not even tech, it's school related crap I don't really need at the moment.

I didn't want to make another thread, but I've got some questions for all the multiple monitor people.

I used to rock dual CRTs back in the day using an AGP and PCI video card, and it was pretty straight forward.  Now that there are expontentially more options with the different connectivity and different types of montiors.  Anyone have any interesting setups/tips?  I'm specifically curious about multiple touchscreen setups with wireless functionality.

^^ this.

I have 2 monitors, I love my 1440p monitor as a main monitor and then I have a secondary monitor for shoving random crap onto like twitch or youtube or just LTT.

5 monitors here, gets everything done faster, shopping, research, work, etc

gaming does take a hit but oh well I pretty much only play games that can be on surround, bezels dont bother ya after couple weeks, its like looking thru grouped windows and most of the action goes on through the one directly in front of you,

going back to one monitor makes me feel like I'm in a tunnel,

I don't really care for surround gaming, but it's very useful for when you need to have many programs open at the same time, it really helps me with my college work. I have a 23" LG 1920x1080 as my main display and a 19.5" BenQ 1920x1080 as my second one.
