Worlds slowest leak?

I have an odd thing that happens, my main complex loop has 2 parts. one res loses some water at a really slow rate but the top is not air tight so it is evaporation and only happens when the loop gets hot. The oddity is the other section of the main loop is sealed completely but yet no matter the temperature seems to lose consistantly the exact amount of fluid over time. were talking like a quarter cup a mounth or less kinda thing but it is consistant. Is it possible that there are still small air pockets trapped in my rad after all this time? or that there is a small spot in a res that evaporation can still take place and moisture escape? I am quite curious and yes I have a very complex 3 computer loop and roof rad thing, I made another post about it but this is just me curious of what is going on? Where is the fluid going? it is so little that having to top of the rad every like 3 months is not really a big deal but it is very odd.

Some are hard tubing acrylic, some is regular plastic hardware store hose like the clear small hoses and some is like flex tube  from from ekwb

sounds more like a pin hole leak. 

 

though i would blame some on cheaper rubber / flexible hoses. that can expand and contract. and cause volume lost when hot. and gain when things cool down. 

 

pending on type of fittings you used, from barb fittings and a clamp, to more of a compression fitting style.   each have con's/pro's. were a leak might happen,  some of the fittings that twist/turn on there own might have an issue as well.   little woopsie not paying attention to washer when putting fittings together.    or pending on fitting type not using tape or a paste on the threads. 

 

pin hole leak in a radiator. a little woopsie slice on a hose when installed and cut hose some.  

 

not cutting end of hose/pipe off "evenly" enough when you installed them. 

 

if your system running has hoses/pipes running up and down. (upside down U) type doing, air could be built up in top of the upside down U areas, and air was never pushed out of the system.

Cool well it causes no issues and is so minute that it evaporates whareever it leaks because it's so slow.
