Tax Returns-Tech Purchase

For those old enough to have a refund coming, what are your plans on any future money? New PC? Upgrades? I'm just curious since I plan on getting a new camera to replace one stolen from me.

Mine's going into a business venture.

Though, to help raise funds, I am going to be buying PCs from eBay and parting them out. So I guess that's kind of tech related?

I might pick up an RX580 with it to make use of the FreeSync my current monitor has. Other than that I have basically everything I need tech wise. I'll upgrade my monitor and PC in the latter half of the year, once the new AMD stuff drops.

Considering if the Government is staying open is not a certainty, I wont count on my tax return this year for anything until I have it in my hand.

I’m dumping it all on my credit card (should be like a 6k return); then I’ll be turning around and promptly buying parts to do a custom loop in my pc I built this month, and maybe another 2 sticks of ram just because the computer looks weird to me with the two empty slots

Unless they did away with the "Fine" for not having Obamacare, I count on the government stealing another $1,000 or so from me.

My return is a fraction of what it was last year, but what little it is will be going to the boat anchor Dodge Dakota in my yard that needs its motor rebuilt.

I take the fine as well since it is cheaper than paying the monthly scam. I am healthy and haven't been to the doctor since I was in high school. I am now 53 years old.

Well, i'm self employed so I'll be paying into the government, not getting any refunds (unless I make a mistake on them).

Though, related, I plan on writing off the 4k new monitor I got since a big reason I bought it was for my business.
