27" Monitor as main and 24" as secondary

TShaw13

Hello, I've been searching around but I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.

Currently I have a 24" 1920x1080 60hz monitor. I've been thinking about adding a second monitor that would be of a higher refresh rate and possibly 27".

So my question is with the two side by side, what resolution should the 27" monitor be for things to appear the same size on both screens? Should I be looking at 1920x1080 27" monitors or 2560x1440 27" monitors?

Thanks!

The scaling will be fine between the 2 monitors, as long as your not using it for surround gaming. Just set your 27" as primary and game on that and use the 24" as a secondary screen to watch netflix or whatever while gaming.

It would need to be a 2160x1215 monitor for items to be the same size.

So basically you need to either choose smaller or larger because there is no in between.

1080p would be slightly closer than 1440p if you do the math.

So really either would work? I just don't want one of the monitors to be magnified as I will be sitting quite close to both.

Thank you for the responses!
