mounting non vesa screens on wall

RasmusDC

i know there are these standard solutions for that, but has anyone been "DIY" on this.

i have an issue, i want a "small" TV in my kitchen, and every sub 32" is either an enormous ugly screen, or 3 cm deep.

But monitors have moved a long way, so i have been thinking of buying one of the "bezeless" thin screen, where the base might be a bit thick but with downfirering connectors, but the top of the screen is oled thin, then mounting it on the wall.

running a ATV4 to it, and sound over my sonos in the kitchen. was thinking Velcro solutions, to get it snuck to the wall. since VESA Mounts on the slim screens, are not there. and VESA usually means not being able to mount it flush.

it is just a 27" 1920x1080 IPS panel i am looking into mounting. and since we have a full TV pack with a web portal, and a ATV app, it should be possible.

Why not just build you own and glue it to the wall:

can you buy a display with a HDMI "connector" ?

cause it is not a bad idea, if i could build a "pictureframe" my wife would love it.
