Does a Wacom Intuos pen/touch tablet count? >.> Thinking of getting one.

Don't see much need for a tablet, yet. My phone works for most things I want and even then, I don't use it frequently enough to require a tablet for specific uses.

I have a Kindle Fire but I only use it for reading books and comics which is rarely. My desktop, laptop, and cell phone get significantly more usage.

I own a TF101, currently using it as a filler / temporary laptop replacement as my old one kicked the bucket a while back. Decent note taking device for lectures and whatnot.

I really want a tablet. My nexus 5 screen is just to small :D I'm waiting for the nexus 7 2014.

I don't always have time to study, but when I do, I don't.

My GS4 is always with me and has a large screen. I dont see c a reason to spend $250+ on something that does less. So no. I think the Note III is better because it does both. I dont want to be tethered to wifi or carry two things with me.

All about needs in today's industry. For you, a GS4 is fine. But a lot of people want that functionality in a similar, albeit larger, form factor. The larger screen makes light note taking and the typing of documents a decent experience when paired with a Bluetooth keyboard.

And tablets are all about content consumption, so typically have awesome displays. Look at the iPad retina or the N7 1920*1200 IPS panel. They're gorgeous.

I really dont have a use for a tablet except maybe a surface pro but then I have my laptop. I liked my netbook (s) when they were still viable so I didnt have to bring my laptop places where it wasnt needed. I still miss my dell 700m. I really wasnt a decently powerful laptop in that form factor. When I got my T420 14in was the smallest I could go without loosing the dedcated gpu. I cant wait until external thunderbolt gpu's are viable. Ill probably get a X1 Carbon then with iris gfx and a beef external gpu.
