My prediction:

September:

-iPhone 5s reduced in price, 5c reduced in price, 4s discontinued.

-iPhone Air (6), similar size to 5s but thinner. // iPhone [insert name] phablet device both introduced.

-iWatch (meh..)

etc

I wouldn't put too much weight into a fan rendered phone.

I also love how the person writing the article puts HTC as one of the people waging the megapixel war. Right. With their 4 "ultrapixel" camera. Last time I checked, 4 was half of 8.

I can just hear it now. "But, like, my iPhone has this awesome 5.7" screen that Apple invented and it has RETINA so it's just better."

Doesn't seem all that likely to me...

Anyway, one of the strongest selling points of and iPhone to me, and the only reason why I might consider one, is that they seem to be the only ones who offer top-notch hardware in a small phone. Phones should be made for one-handed use.

This. Exactly.

Companies make articles like this just for revenue. Oh, and it also helps Apple.

I'd have to agree with this, it just makes sense.

I'm a Galaxy S4 user, and it's perfect for me because I have rather big hands.

This is most likely fake. 5.7in is way too big. Would prefer they stayed 4in.

Yes, yes I do.

there is no way the phone will be 5.7inch and completely borderless, that would be the stupidest move on apple's part

Apple just don't know how to make their phones.

I would not agree with that at all. Their phones are good looking, pretty robust (have not tested that out yet on mine), interface is very easy to navigate and use and it sits just right in your hand. Personally it does everything a regular phone should do these days. If anything I think, does samsung know what they are doing, phablets are just strange in my own personal opinion and not anyone elses. oh a stylus, on a phone??.

Back on topic though if Apple does make the phone more phablet like then i would be very disappointed.

I'm almost tempted to downgrade to a Nexus One for my next phone. It's one of the few phones that I'd consider the perfect sweetspot for size, resolution and functionality.

Whats your major?

I cant use an Ipad for my Computer Science classes, might as well bring a ball and chain. I personally use an Acer chromebook flashed to Ubuntu.(fun fact about the processor is that its the same chip thats used in $500 dollar dell machines and google foots some of the costs so they can get greater market penetration. So its a steal at $199). Not one person would dare to bring a mac or ipad into class, you would get laughed out the door and told to pick up something that's not a total brick for development.

Times have changed sir, 6 out of 7 of the IT guys where I work use Macbook's.

they still only make up 8% of the market, so the statistical probability indicates you work at an apple store.  :P
