If anybody else is aggravated by Apple's horrible policies and ethics please help me find anything illegal and unethical about them.

Also, I watched Linus' videos about this and I'm trying to help in any way I can to try to get apple to make their support actually good and not be the sub-par company they have become.  I and many others hold them to the bar they have set for themselves.

P.S. I'm not an Apple hater I just am annoyed by them.

anything illegal

Well if its grossly our government may step in and press some prison bar charges. However our governments do not "play" with the "big fish" that often, because of the fishes deep pockets. Our governments love to go after the peasant, scraping a living and barely getting by. Its been proven time and time again, like the Zurich Switzerland banking fiasco where our governments allowed them to slide. Meanwhile that bum in Vancouver that jumped the gate in order to take the train to the methadone clinic, is sitting in remand at a cost of $350/day. Meanwhile the Huiewi ceo laughed sitting in the Ritz Carleton penthouse suite and told not to leave town. Ego's, power trips and donuts are more important!

PS Good luck with your efforts, I wish you the best in your efforts to change a multi-billion dollar company into its methodologies of how its run.

well....... technically they are probably breaking the law in my country by denying service that is required by law. (regardless of what service program they put out)

i mean the laws in my country are often better than all of the service programs they put out for certain devices and flaws

I do, sometimes, annoyed at Apple but mostly of how outrageous Apple's pricing has been lately

As for illegal or not, well our consumer law sucks so I don't know what to say. Because of that, every reseller of some brands have been, in one way or another, trying to screw us anyway

That's why I bought a used Macbook Pro, still using 2-year-old 7 Plus and a worn out Airpods which is probably dying soon

Only Apple thing I bought new this year was the Watch Series 4 - probably the only decent devices they released in 2018

Well Apple has been sued before and lost in some cases. Big companies generally have no problem with introducing policies that  might actually be illegal. Because short term nothing is going to happen (unless it is clearly against the law which 99% of company policy stuff is not).

Long term there might be consequences.

Nothing apple does is ever illegal. And if it is, the law will change to make it legal.

They are the richest company on the planet, do you think they really care about laws?  Any fine is just calculated into the bottom line and passed on to customers. They could start executing people who "betray the experience" and they'd still make money.

Technically any company in the US that is putting "warranty void if broken" stickers on a product, is breaking the law.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
